[Case Study] Infection control in hospitals! Remote-controlled ultraviolet irradiation robot
It not only reduces the risk of infection but also alleviates the burden on workers.
Introducing the case of the ultraviolet irradiation robot developed by our company, marking the first introduction in a medical institution at the Yokohama Sakae Kyosai Hospital (Sakae Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) under the National Public Service Mutual Aid Association! As the workload of hospital staff increases, so do the infection risks and psychological anxieties for workers (mainly nurses). To combat hospital-acquired infections and protect the essential workers who are hospital staff, we have decided to introduce our robot. ■ What is the "Disinfection Lamp Equipped Robot"? It is a UV irradiation robot equipped with a disinfection lamp that emits ultraviolet rays (UV-C wavelength 254nm). 【Features】 - The cart is compact in size, making it usable in narrow spaces. - No complicated initial setup is required; it can be operated immediately. - Operation from the dedicated controller is very simple. - By performing UV irradiation with "SR-UVC" as a primary disinfection method, it is expected to reduce infection risks and the psychological burden on workers.
