Our company designs and manufactures custom keyboards tailored to our customers' specifications. Here, we would like to introduce a case requested by a customer. 【Overview】 ■Background When developing and selling a POS register system for the apparel industry, we were looking for a dedicated keyboard that would work in conjunction with the system, and the customer adopted our favorite keyboard, Pro, with customizations. They prioritized input convenience and chose to implement a keyboard instead of a touchscreen. ■Key Points of Implementation In stores with a high number of customers, using touchscreen devices tends to slow down input tasks, reducing speed and efficiency. → By configuring a dedicated custom keyboard to work with the system, it can be easily introduced as an input option. ■Implementation Effects The main sales operations can be completed using the keyboard, improving usability. Since the keys are designed with transparent caps, full customization for each sales destination is easily achievable.
