USB Type-C Power Delivery (PD) Port Controller UPD350
The UPD350 has the capability to determine the orientation of the USB Type-C receptacle cable plug and detect attributes such as current supply capability. It implements baseband communication via the built-in USB Power Delivery 3.0 MAC with USB Type-C devices. The UPD350 can operate in standalone UFP mode or connect to a companion CPU/SoC using the built-in I2C/SPI interface.
