We would like to introduce the module (panel) cleaning work carried out at a 50kW low-pressure power plant located in Funai-gun, Kyoto Prefecture. Before cleaning, dirt that had fallen from rainwater had accumulated at the lower edge of the module, but after using a cleaning robot, not only the surface was cleaned, but the accumulated dirt was also thoroughly removed. Depending on the surrounding environment, accumulated dirt can lead to accelerated degradation of the module or a decrease in power generation, so we recommend regular cleaning every few years.
