Introducing station interior mirrors! A case study showing their effectiveness in preventing collisions between customers during the morning commute rush (Saitama Rapid Railway).
We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Saitama Rapid Railway Co., Ltd. The company installed mirrors to prevent collisions between people descending from the escalator to the platform and those coming from the train towards the stairs. "We have noticed that during the morning rush hour, when standing on the platform, customers occasionally glance at the mirror, and I feel that it is helping to prevent collisions," was the feedback we received. [Case Study] ■ Product Used: Station Interior Mirror (Custom-made) ■ Customer Feedback: It is helping to prevent collisions between customers during the morning rush hour. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, as well as to show "consideration" for others. For example, one can check with the mirror to see if anyone is coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to check if someone is trying to get on an elevator and wait for them... Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful all over the world, from convenience stores to airplanes.
