What is a pandemic?

When the infectious disease expands to a larger region than the outbreak, it is referred to as an "epidemic," and the progression from epidemic leads to a pandemic. In other words, if an outbreak does not occur, a pandemic cannot happen. This outbreak often occurs indoors, similar to clusters, so it is crucial to implement indoor infection control measures to prevent outbreaks.
