We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation at Rohm and Haas Japan Co., Ltd. Soma Plant (Dow Chemical Group). An important safety measure in logistics is the forklift, which carries heavy loads and moves around freely. While it is convenient, it also poses constant dangers. However, even when near misses and close calls occur with forklifts, reports often do not come from the field, leading to delays in response. The first report must be shared globally within 24 hours, but responses were often delayed. The tool that solved this issue was Toolmart's "Drive Recorder for Forklifts." As a result, near misses and close calls have actually decreased, and it has received very positive feedback.
