High-end FA computer compatible with Xeon scalable processors

The FA computer "VPC-7000" from Contec now allows you to choose Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019 as a pre-installed OS.

Contec has developed a new product in the VPC-7000 series of server-grade high-end FA computers, compatible with the 3rd generation Intel(R) Xeon(R) Scalable processors (Ice Lake), which comes pre-installed with "MIRACLE LINUX 8.6." Orders began on November 29, 2022. MIRACLE LINUX 8 is well-regarded as a domestic Linux OS that addresses the end of CentOS. The latest version 8.6 of MIRACLE LINUX 8 is now available for selection on the high-end FA computer VPC-7000, which is compatible with Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Contec's MIRACLE LINUX pre-installed model offers the "MIRACLE LINUX Standard Support OEM version" as a special offer. It provides services that are usually charged (with a separate contract), such as technical inquiries, update support (notification of update information, provision of version upgrades, correction modules, and errata information), and 12 years of extended support (normally 10 years) without the need for additional contracts, ensuring long-term peace of mind for users.

The VPC-7000 series is a FA computer designed with availability and maintainability for continuous 24-hour operation. It is widely applicable in fields that require stable multi-processing, such as industrial equipment, medical devices, transportation, social infrastructure, security, and amusement. As the pinnacle of the series, it supports a many-core CPU with up to 32 cores/64 threads, high-speed memory with 8 channels of DDR4-3200, and is equipped with three PCI Express 4.0 (x16) expansion slots to unleash the performance of high-end GPU boards, achieving server-class specifications for environmental resistance and reliability in FA computers. It provides an HPC/GPU computing environment capable of comfortably handling demanding workloads in embedded applications such as high-definition machine vision, AI/deep learning, VR/AR, and virtual machines.
