- From materials to applications such as 6G and LiDAR -
This seminar will explain the operating principles of key devices that support optical fiber communication and optical measurement/sensing, as well as the latest research trends. To help those unfamiliar with optical devices understand, we will also cover the basics of photonics, including wavelength, phase, and polarization. While some mathematical expressions are necessary to understand optical modulators, the goal of this seminar is to achieve an intuitive understanding. We will use simulation software that is easy to operate and allows you to observe changes in the output signal of the modulator to demonstrate the operating principles. Through this seminar, we aim to equip you with the knowledge necessary to develop and design application systems using optical modulators.
