Nannochloropsis is a whole food rich in 61 types of nutrients, including plant-based EPA omega-3, vitamins, minerals, β-carotene, and amino acids. It is used as an additive in health foods such as supplements and cosmetics, and is gaining attention as an ingredient for vegetarian food products. Additionally, Nannochloropsis is widely used for nutritional enhancement of rotifers, which are feed in seedling aquaculture, and is favored by fisheries research institutes and aquaculture businesses across the country.
