ActiveImage Protector for CLUSTERPRO is a backup/recovery solution for NEC's HA clustering software, CLUSTERPRO. With CLUSTERPRO, it is possible to quickly and reliably back up the system and cluster volumes (mirror volumes, shared volumes) of clustered servers using disk imaging. In the event of a failure, the system and cluster volumes can be rapidly restored, allowing for quick recovery of the system. It is configured to prevent errors during installation even when the cluster volume, a special storage device, is connected. NEC's CLUSTERPRO is a high availability clustering software that monitors system failures and ensures high availability by transferring operations to a healthy server in the event of a failure. It has been the number one HA clustering software in Japan for 19 consecutive years.
