The Hilton Hotel Portsmouth, located in the city of Portsmouth, is a five-star hotel that is globally renowned as part of the Hilton Group. Constructed in 1981, it has 120 guest rooms. Due to the use of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the air conditioning and hot water piping, the hotel faced serious issues with red rust deterioration and leaks after 25 years.
