basic information
PlaX Fiber is a nearly 100% plant-based synthetic fiber that successfully enhances dyeability and durability, which were previously difficult to achieve, by adding Bioworks' unique plant-derived additives to polylactic acid. Polylactic acid has functional properties such as antibacterial deodorization and weak acidity, and it can be biodegradable under certain environmental conditions. It is recognized as carbon neutral because it does not increase CO2 emissions when burned. It can be utilized not only on its own but also in combination with other materials for a wide range of applications. PlaX 100%
