This is a measuring device for measuring the thickness of the soles of athletic shoes (such as running shoes). It can directly measure the central part of the heel of the shoe by placing the measuring probe on it. We also provide a measuring platform and reference bar that can be used in conjunction with the measuring device. It allows for accurate and easy measurement of sole thickness in seconds. ■ Pinpoint measurement of the central heel Since the measuring probe can be inserted directly into the shoe, it is easy to capture the central part of the heel. Relying solely on the "sole thickness" provided by shoe manufacturers does not allow for accurate measurements that include the thickness of the insole or wear on the sole. By measuring just before competition, you can easily determine the actual thickness of the shoe sole during use. *Point Measurements can be taken in increments of 0.01mm, and the condition of sole wear after use can also be managed. ■ High-cut shoes can also be measured By replacing the measuring probe for high-cut shoes, measurements can be taken. The probe replacement is screw-based and can be easily done by anyone. Note: The screw part of the measuring probe includes a locking nut. Turn on the power – Press the "ON/OFF button" on the measuring device to turn it on. 2. Determine the reference surface – Place the measuring device on a flat surface such as a table and press the "Zero Setting" button with the measuring probe against the reference surface. (After zero setting, you can measure continuously, but please periodically check if the zero value is correct.) 3. Position the shoes – Pinch the sliding part and move it up. Set the center of the shoe's heel under the measuring probe. 4. Measure the thickness – Lower the sliding part and lightly touch the measuring probe to the shoe's sole. 5. Check the value – Confirm the thickness value on the digital display. *The markings printed on the support column are used to check whether the digital measuring device is functioning correctly.
