By equipping the experimental machine, which tends to go into standby after completing experiments, with extended functionalities, it can transform into a facility capable of producing sample products that can be proposed to customers and small rod production as it progresses to the next stage. In reality, products formed by coating experiments such as dip coating often cannot be repurposed into sample products or actual products for customers due to irregularities in the appearance of the coated film. By reducing contamination, which is the main cause of these appearance irregularities, within the coating system, it is possible to dramatically decrease the disturbances in the coated film. ● Coating system for contamination reduction 1) Removal of contamination brought into the paint from the substrate (workpiece): Filtering during paint circulation and controlling the paint temperature within a certain range. 2) Increasing cleanliness by enclosing the coating area with a local booth and using a fan filter unit (FFU). The device that incorporates these two functions is the "FD200C2."
