Acquisition of marker data with the Vicon system! Introducing the results of musculoskeletal analysis using posture estimation results.
This article introduces a case study using AI-based 3D posture estimation data obtained solely from videos shot with a general digital camera to perform musculoskeletal analysis with Anybody. At our Terabyte Lab, we conducted a lifting motion with heavy objects. Simultaneously, while filming the video with a digital camera, we also collected marker data using our Vicon system for comparative validation. As a result, although the movements during transportation were unfortunately defined as unnatural, the joint compressive forces occurring between the lumbar vertebrae showed almost the same results.
