Founded in 1923 (Taisho 12) in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture as a sole proprietorship. We started manufacturing boilers and other canned products under the name Kamigaki Iron Works. In 1959 (Showa 34), we received approval for the manufacture of welded boilers and pressure vessels, and began producing fully welded boilers. To date, we have manufactured over 2,000 various pressure vessels, including first and second category pressure vessels (as of 2022). In particular, our retort sterilization equipment, which was developed in response to customer requests in 1970 (Showa 45), has become our flagship product. We always strive to produce better products, and to that end, we engage in improvements and refinements, experimenting to enhance our technical capabilities, and we will continue to sincerely face our products in the future.
