The VT08 is equipped with both an infrared camera and a visible light camera, allowing for real-time blending of visible images and infrared heat maps to distinguish objects. Additionally, it allows for quick adjustments of the blending level and switching to picture-in-picture mode to match familiar procedures. A thermal infrared imager is available in the same size as a radiation thermometer, making excellent portability one of the advantages of the VT06/08. It is nearly comparable to a radiation thermometer in terms of weight and size.
