Schaeffler has collaborated with SSI Schäfer, one of the high-level intralogistics providers, to implement an intelligent maintenance system for the operationally critical machinery and equipment in the new storage and distribution center. The aim is to prevent unexpected downtime, significantly reduce maintenance costs, and improve machine availability. Vibration monitoring systems for drive systems involved in operations and automated lubrication systems (automatic oiling and greasing) have been applied for Intralogistics 4.0.
