Epoxy glass (Galaepo) laminated sheets are molded materials made by impregnating and laminating glass fibers with epoxy resin and then curing them with heat. Features include insulation, mechanical strength, flame resistance, and low conductivity. This case introduces Nicholite® NL-EGN manufactured by Nikko Chemical Co., Ltd. It is a flame-retardant version of the standard epoxy glass insulating material NL-EG (equivalent to EL-GEF, UL-94V-0 certified) and is of FR-4 grade. Applications include "terminal boards, insulating washers, heavy electrical equipment, and communication devices."
