The protruding wires from the plug are a nuisance! Introducing the L-shaped power plug series that solves such problems, featuring a 3P 20A 250V rated grounded type!
The 20A and 30A L-shaped plugs have their wire insertion point oriented at a 90-degree angle to the direction of the prongs. A new grounded type 3P 20A 250V rated plug has been introduced. [Model number: 4222EL] It is suitable for use in locations where the wire coming from the plugged-in plug may be in the way or where there is a risk of it getting caught. ■ Sturdy and safe construction! The body is made of flame-retardant nylon resin (UL94 V-0) that excels in heat resistance and tracking resistance (30A uses reinforced nylon resin). The cover is made of polycarbonate resin with flame-retardant properties (UL94 V-0) and boasts exceptional strength. ■ Reduced wiring work! The wire stripping dimensions are the same for both single-phase and three-phase connections, and by increasing the space inside the cover where the connected body is assembled, the connected wires can be smoothly accommodated. ■ Waterproof performance too! By using a waterproof plate, it maintains waterproof performance (IPX3 rainproof) even when the plug is inserted into the outlet.

Company information
~The De Facto Standard for Industrial Wiring Devices~ American Electric manufactures wiring devices such as outlets, plugs, and connectors that play an essential role in the lives of people and in manufacturing by transmitting electricity. Among these, our flagship product is the wiring device known as the "hook type." Its plug blades are designed in a curved R shape, allowing them to be inserted into an outlet and locked in place by turning to the right, preventing them from being pulled out. We have been pioneering the manufacturing of this product for about 70 years. Currently, the hook type wiring devices offered by American Electric include a lineup of 30 rated specifications that accommodate 2 to 4 cores, 15 to 100A, and 100 to 600V, making us the top domestic brand in this field. Beyond the functional aspect of being locked in place, our extensive lineup and the reliability of our superior quality have made our products indispensable in various industries, including automotive factories, semiconductor manufacturing plants, machinery-related manufacturing plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, food manufacturing plants, shipyards, as well as in information and communication sectors like server rooms, banks, research institutions, and offices, where a stable power supply is always desired for various equipment and machinery.
