ABB's next-generation antibacterial conduit tube system is designed specifically for the food industry, protecting complex equipment with delicate electrical wiring systems through control and automation. This solution enables food and beverage processors to enhance revenue, factory sustainability, food safety, and brand equity. Our solution, co-developed with technology partner BioCote, integrates antibacterial protection into a new generation of liquid-tight waterproof conduit tubes. The conduit tubes feature a DuPont Hytrel smooth thermo jacket compliant with FDA, EC, and FSA certifications, complemented by a 316 stainless steel integrated liquid-tight waterproof fitting.
