The greenhouse gas reduction targets set by Japan Engine Corporation have been recognized as scientifically based targets by the international initiative "Science Based Targets (SBT) Initiative." Certified greenhouse gas reduction targets: Scope 1: Direct emissions of greenhouse gases from the operator itself Scope 2: Indirect emissions associated with the use of electricity, heat, and steam supplied by other companies → Aiming for a 50% reduction by 2030 based on 2018 levels. Scope 3: Indirect emissions other than Scope 2 → Committing to understanding and reducing these emissions.
