Applications include "thermal insulation materials for various die-cast molds, insulation materials for machine tools, materials for vehicle parts such as Shinkansen, lightweight high-strength jig materials, and various insulation spacer materials." Nikko Kasei's insulation boards include "Rosnaboard, Besthermo, Callight, Calhon, and Thermobaria."
