In simultaneous-comparison method, two works are compared simultaneously. It cancels out the error factors such as temperature changes and deformation, achieving highly accurate leak test. However, when the two works have the same amount of leaks, the works could falsely Pass the test. So, the method is not recommended unless Fail rate of the works is extremely low. In Multi-comparison method, on the other hand, the work is compared with the master and also with another work in one test cycle. This minimizes false Pass judgments when the works have the same amount of leaks, realizing leak test of high accuracy.

Cosmo’s Air Leak Testers began with the automation of cylinder block airtightness tests for engines in 1970. Our products are utilized in various fields including automotive parts, gas, water supply, medical, electrical, electronics, and food. In line with the overseas expansion of Japanese automakers, we began our own overseas expansion in 1983. We now have 24 sales and service offices in 13 countries.
