Insulation materials that provide peace of mind even after long-term use! EPS excels in long-term insulation performance.
In 2013, the Expanded Polystyrene Association called for the provision of test specimens from its members and measured the changes in thermal conductivity (λ) over time from the production of a total of 53 specimens corresponding to JIS A 9511 standards "Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4" at a public testing institution, from immediately after manufacturing to 90 days later. Three years later, in 2016, the thermal conductivity of the test specimens was measured again at a public institution to investigate the "three-year change over time." As a result, it was demonstrated that "the change in insulation performance of EPS is extremely small compared to other foam plastics." The "long-term stability of insulation performance" is an essential factor for ensuring and maintaining a comfortable living space, as well as for the longevity and continued value of housing. The "EPS insulation building materials," which have been proven to have extremely little change in long-term insulation performance, can be considered reliable insulation not only at the time of new construction but also for long-term residence. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
