The Food Sanitation Act was revised in June 2020! Here is an overview of the system and the products that need to be switched.

In June 2020, the Food Sanitation Act was amended, and a positive list system was introduced for synthetic resins that come into direct contact with food. This system involves creating a list of substances for which safety has been confirmed, and, in principle, prohibits the use of any substances not on the list. A transitional measure is in place until May 31, 2025, during which some oil-less products need to be switched over.
