The IP605 series is a KVM switch extension unit that allows multiple PCs to be switched and operated remotely. It supports various connections including 1:1, 1:multiple, multiple:1, and multiple:multiple. The maximum number of connections is 16 transmitters and 16 receivers. LAN cables (CAT-6/6e) are used for extension, with a maximum distance of 100m between the transmitter and HUB, and 100m between the HUB and receiver (totaling 200m). Each transmitter/receiver ID is set using a rotary switch. The operation side (receiver) has USB device ports that can connect USB devices other than keyboards/mice, such as USB memory, HDDs, printers, and touch panels. It also features RS232C, allowing communication with devices that have RS232C. The IP605 includes transmitters/receivers compatible with VGA/DVI/HDMI monitors (three types), and mixed display is possible. It can accommodate monitor outputs from PCs (servers) and extended monitors whether they are VGA, DVI, or HDMI.
