The DTW2U3-EPR is a tool designed to assist in the protocol analysis of the USB Type-C Power Delivery standard (supporting 5V-48V 240W). It connects between two USB Type-C devices to capture voltage and current information of the VBUS/CC/VCONN signals, as well as the Power Delivery messages transmitted between the USB Type-C devices. The captured data is sent to a host PC connected via a USB Micro-B port, where a dedicated application can graphically display the voltage and current of various signals and perform protocol analysis of the PD messages.

[Features] - It is possible to measure the voltage and current of VBUS/CC1/CC2 signals with an accuracy of 1 millisecond, allowing for high-precision and long-term (over 24 hours) analysis of various VBUS voltage and current fluctuations due to swap messages, CC toggle signals of DRP devices, and VBUS consumption current during battery charging. - Since the transmitted and received PD messages can be overlaid on the voltage and current graphs of the VBUS/CC1/CC2 signals, changes in the VBUS signal linked to PD messages are clearly displayed, enabling detailed analysis. - The content of PD messages is displayed in detail with names and descriptions in accordance with the PD specification.
