Basic Knowledge of Plastic: What is PP?

A type of material called "general-purpose resin" among synthetic resins (plastics)! Introducing the basics of plastic knowledge.

PP, read as polypropylene, is a polymer made of carbon and hydrogen. It is a crystalline polymer compound (plastic) with a regular arrangement of propylene (gas), making it the lightest among plastics, commonly used in everyday items. It is a type of thermoplastic resin that has plasticity (it can be deformed when force is applied, and does not return to its original shape when the force is removed) when heat is applied. 【Features】 ■ A type of material referred to as "general-purpose resin" ■ Second in production volume among synthetic resins ■ A crystalline polymer compound with a regular arrangement of propylene ■ The lightest plastic, with a specific gravity of 0.9 ■ Commonly used in everyday items ■ A type of thermoplastic resin *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
