We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of a "semiconductor parts mounting device." There was a challenge of wanting to automatically mount special-shaped components with high precision on a printed circuit board, which could not be accommodated by the mounting machines of the implementation machine manufacturers. In response, our company flexibly designed a robot hand and mounting stage tailored to the special shapes, achieving high-precision alignment using vector calculations with a scalar robot.
