Let all the speakers be grabbed by the robot! It was able to receive the application of adhesive.
German audio equipment leader Beyerdynamic aimed to increase production in its factory workshop by 50% over four years. This had to be achieved without changing the manufacturing space or the number of employees, and without compromising the brand's highest quality standards. The company was seeking a truly stable automated process. It quickly became clear that equipping the Universal Robots UR5 model with Robotiq's Wrist Camera and 2-Finger Adaptive Gripper was the optimal choice. The company was able to have the robot grasp all speakers, regardless of how they came out, place them in a fixture, and receive adhesive application. **Overview** - Products used: 2F-85 / 2F-140 Adaptive Grippers - Application: Pick & Place For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us at v.li@robotiq.com.
