A machine learning machine equipped with an RTX 4090.
This is a proposal example when consulting about a machine aimed at machine learning for audio language. Regarding the installation of Ubuntu 18.04, we have communicated the following information for your consideration: - Ubuntu 18.04 is an older version and has not been confirmed to work with the latest hardware configurations, making it difficult to guarantee its operation. - There is no problem in attempting to install Ubuntu 18.04. - If there are no critical hardware recognition errors, we could ship with Ubuntu 18.04, and if errors occur and cannot be resolved, we could consider switching to 20.04 or 22.04. - If Ubuntu 18.04 is installed, there is a possibility of errors occurring related to LAN peripherals, CPU, and low-power board components. Additionally, the GPU RTX 4090 has a large physical size and generates significant heat, so it is essential to pay close attention to the airflow inside the case. This example is for a hardware configuration that supports up to one GPU, so it is compatible with the internal exhaust type RTX 4090. Therefore, if there are no restrictions regarding the GPU on the software side, higher processing performance than the older RTX 3090 can be expected.
