VINCI Construction Grands Projets, in collaboration with Astaldi, is overseeing the conceptual design and construction of the expansion project at Santiago International Airport in Santiago, Chile. The conceptual design began in 2015, and the construction phase, which started in June 2016, had to be completed by the end of 2020. Since this project is designed based on strict seismic standards, adapting the structure to meet these requirements has been a significant challenge. To address this, collaboration tools such as "Tekla" and "Tekla BIMsight" were used.
