We will introduce the basics of coating that were presented in the FOOMA seminar, as well as measures for SDGs.
The original surface treatment (coating) "JC Coat" was born from the surface treatment technology cultivated in electronic component manufacturing. Based on DLC and utilizing our unique technology, it offers various characteristics and is used for printing masks, food manufacturing equipment, and industrial machinery. By applying JC Coat P to manufacturing process equipment and parts, it can prevent various types of adhesion and improve slip properties. Additionally, this leads to reduced cleaning time and increased production efficiency, contributing to SDGs initiatives. We held a seminar on this topic at FOOMA 2022, which you can watch. <Content> 1. Current status of SDGs 2. What is coating? 3. What is JC Coat P? 4. JC Coat P and SDGs 5. Summary If you download the materials, you will find the URL for the seminar video on YouTube at the end of the document. Please watch it using this URL.

Company information
Taiyo Yuden Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. is a company that started in 1970 from the chemical processing division of the electronic component manufacturer Taiyo Yuden. As a member of the Taiyo Yuden Group, we produce various products utilizing ultra-fine processing technology and surface treatment technology, focusing on electrode plating for chip-type electronic components, in response to the advanced needs of the industry. Our original surface treatment (coating) JC Coat is a contract coating that adds value based on DLC and our unique technology. We believe it will be helpful in addressing various issues such as conveyability and slippage caused by adhesion in production processes from food to industrial factories, as well as troubles with cutting errors using blades.
