Presenting explanatory materials on fluororesin lining! For improving corrosion resistance in metal piping, chemical piping, storage tanks, and reaction tanks!
In fluororesin sheet lining processing, there are two methods: "adhesive lining," where sheets made of PTFE or PFA are processed to allow one side to be bonded using a special method and then adhered to the substrate with adhesive, and "loose lining," a processing method like lining pipes where the liner is not bonded to the substrate. Sheet lining can process thicker linings compared to many other fluororesin lining methods. This results in excellent corrosion resistance among various fluororesin linings. On the other hand, the adhesion strength with the substrate depends on the adhesive's bonding power, so it generally does not accommodate use in negative pressure environments. Negative pressure applications can be addressed with other methods such as baked lining or roto-lining. *You can download a document summarizing the details of the lining.
