This is a cellulose nanofiber water dispersion obtained by processing bacterial cellulose hydrogel solely through physical treatment. It can be used as an additive for thickening and strength enhancement in various fields. By adding Mi-Cell, you can impart viscosity to the material. Compared to existing thickeners, it can exhibit approximately 8 to 80 times the viscosity when at rest. Additionally, when shear forces such as stirring are applied, the viscosity decreases rapidly, and when stirring stops, the viscosity rises again, allowing for easy mixing with other materials while exhibiting high viscosity at rest. By adding Mi-Cell to substances that tend to separate, like water and oil, emulsifying action is achieved. It can be used as an environmentally friendly surfactant derived from fermentation.
