We would like to introduce a case that solved the issue of wanting to change the hood and duct using existing dust collection equipment. If additional suction ports are added without particularly considering the capacity of the dust collection equipment or the ducts, the environment within the factory may deteriorate. In such cases, we install hoods that match the capacity of the dust collection equipment and select duct diameters that correspond to the airflow at various locations, ensuring uniform air velocity within the ducts. Additionally, if there is a desire to effectively utilize dust collection equipment that was used in another location, we first assess the performance of the existing dust collection equipment (conducting investigations as necessary) and then design appropriate hoods and ducts for effective use.
