[Information] Explanation of the filtration material test in use

This document explains the testing of filtration materials in use based on the Japan Water Works Association standard JWWA A103. It includes tests such as the "sieving test," "cleaning turbidity test," "adhesion turbidity test," and "quantitative test for metal contaminants." We continue to conduct tests in accordance with the regulations established in JWWA A103-1988. However, regarding the standard solution for turbidity measurement, we have changed from kaolin suspension to a polystyrene particle suspension for calibration due to the revision of water quality standards.
