Two collaborative robots (cobots) equipped with four OnRobot grippers are supporting two production lines at the MedicoPack factory in Langeskov, Denmark, producing a significant number of infusion containers every day. Previously, the completed infusion containers were gathered into large packaging boxes, from which they were manually checked, stacked, and packed. The company believed that they could do this more appropriately not only in terms of efficiency but also in terms of contamination risk, and chose to automate the stacking process.
