High-precision drones capable of autonomous flight below 1mm! They can also be used for behavior measurement and performance testing.
To achieve stable flight of drones or to fly along a predetermined route, flight control is performed using position information received from GPS. However, this inevitably leads to challenges in accuracy. In response, Acuity offers a 'Displacement Measurement System' that enables high-precision flight control of drones without relying on radio wave reception. This system can also be utilized for measuring displacement, as well as for tracking trajectories based on a specific point as the origin and for three-dimensional measurement of posture and angles. 【Challenges and Requests Before Implementation】 ■ Accuracy of Drone Positioning - The accuracy of positioning with GPS is between 2 to 5 meters, making high-precision flight control difficult. ■ Not suitable for environments where radio wave reception is challenging. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
