【About the Halogen Cycle】 ■ When current flows and the filament becomes high temperature, tungsten atoms evaporate from the filament. ■ They bond with the halogen atoms in the enclosed halogen gas to form tungsten halide. ■ The molecules float within the bulb and separate into halogen atoms and tungsten atoms near the high-temperature filament. ■ The tungsten atoms return to the filament, and the freed halogen atoms repeat the previous reaction. ■ This suppresses blackening of the bulb wall and prevents filament wear. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
