Gypsum casting is a casting method using gypsum molds. It can achieve a beautiful surface finish and dimensional accuracy comparable to die-cast products. It has good transferability and can reproduce embossed characters (such as part numbers and company logos) using a φ0.3 tool. It is ideal for producing prototypes, single items, and small lots with a wide variety of products. Since no molds are required, it can be provided with short lead times and low costs. It is particularly suitable for complex shapes, thin-walled, and hollow shapes that are difficult to manufacture through machining. The finished cast products are dimensionally measured using a three-dimensional measuring machine to ensure quality assurance. It can accommodate zero draft angles and undercuts, which are features of gypsum casting.

Gypsum casting is optimal for precision casting of lightweight metal materials such as aluminum and zinc. - Main compatible materials: Aluminum alloys (AC2A, AC2B, AC4B, AC4C, AC7A, AC8A, etc.) Die-casting aluminum alloys (ADC12, ADC1, ADC6, wear-resistant alloy NH41) Zinc alloys (AZC1, AZC2, AZC3) High thermal conductivity aluminum alloys "HT-1" and "DMS series: DMS1, DMS3, DMS5, DMS6" - Dimensional accuracy: Equivalent to JIS B 0403 1995 casting tolerance grade CT5 (equivalent to CT4 for dimensions under 25mm) Surface roughness according to JIS B 0601 2001 Ra 6.3a equivalent - Short delivery time + cost reduction: No molds are manufactured. Due to the method of creating molds with gypsum for casting, the initial cost is several hundred thousand yen.
