To use it, place the substrate material (glass or metal) on the top of the central rotating body, and then drop the solution of polymer or compound dissolved in a solvent onto it. Turn on the switch and set an appropriate rotation speed; the central part will start to rotate, and after a few dozen seconds, the solution will be flung off, forming a thin liquid film.
