This document includes several representative application examples regarding the evaluation methods for the thermal decomposition of materials.
This technical document introduces the 'TG-FTIR', which has been commercialized through the combination of the "TG-DTA" manufactured by Rigaku Corporation and the infrared spectrophotometer "FT-IR" produced by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Additionally, it includes several representative application examples for evaluating the thermal decomposition of materials. Furthermore, it compares the characteristics of "FT-IR," "MS," and "GC-MS," which are used as gas detectors for generated gases, using tables.
