Design to construct a single roof that combines the high ceiling of the second-floor manufacturing area with the low ceiling of the office welfare area.
We would like to introduce a case study of Musashino Foods Co., Ltd., for which we undertook the design. As a solution for the production lines of bread crumbs and sliced bread, a multi-story (3-story) manufacturing plant was constructed. To support the loads from the mixers on the second floor and to achieve a 15-meter span, we adopted the prestressed concrete (post-tension) method. The distinctive arched roof shape is designed to create a single roof that accommodates the high ceiling of the second-floor manufacturing area and the lower ceiling of the office and welfare area. 【Overview】 ■ Location: Arashiyama, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture ■ Construction - Architecture: Toda Corporation - Equipment: Daidan ■ Total Floor Area: 11,000 m² ■ Structure and Scale: SRC construction, 3 stories above ground *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
