Support for modular furniture productization / Tesera Inc.

We support the product development and manufacturing of Tesera, the first furniture brand from Kanazawa, which develops, manufactures, and sells interior products.

This time, we supported the development and manufacturing of a product displayed at the "Tesera Kanazawa Collection" held in an interior showroom, which is a cat tower. The Tesera brand adopts a unique modular system structure to adapt to changes in work styles and company growth. The "cat tower," for which we supported product development, can also be said to be a product line based on changes in family and lifestyle. ■ Functionality Provided by the Unique Technology "Farnu" Some of the wooden boards of the cat tower use PU flow analysis injection molding technology, Farnu. By utilizing wooden panels shaped with PU flow analysis injection molding technology and original fastening parts made with a 3D printer, we prevent the wooden boards from shifting or falling due to the cat's movement. Additionally, using PU flow analysis injection molding technology helps prevent scratches when removing panels and damage if a panel is dropped. The board that serves as the back of the furniture uses lightweight panels created with Tokihas' unique manufacturing technology. By using lightweight panels on a wide surface of 1945mm in width and 1500mm in height, we achieved an overall reduction in the weight of the furniture.
