We have renewed the sliding door rollers used in household dish cabinets. It has a height adjustment feature, but until now, a screwdriver was required for adjustment. The client's request was to reduce costs by decreasing the number of parts. Therefore, we thought about integrating the operation dial with the height adjustment screw, allowing it to be turned directly by hand. This not only eliminates the need for gears but also removes the need for a screwdriver, making the operation inside the cabinet safe and comfortable. As a result of prototype testing, there were no concerns about screw loosening that were initially feared, and we quickly moved towards product commercialization.
