[Technical Adoption Case] High Roundness Profile

Control of mold technology and extrusion conditions! A case study that enhanced the dimensional accuracy of extruded profiles.

We would like to introduce a case where our aluminum technology has been adopted for "high roundness extruded materials." Aluminum extruded materials are used in various components within the electrical, mechanical, and automotive industries due to their advantages such as lightweight, recyclability, and good formability. High roundness extruded materials have made it possible to achieve dimensional tolerances (roundness) within the hollow sections, which were considered difficult for extruded materials, by controlling our long-accumulated mold technology and extrusion conditions, allowing for roundness of 50 to 100 micrometers or less (about 1/6 of JIS special grade).
