The high-frequency flat-panel heat treatment device REFIX-8 is a machine that straightens warped single boards using high-frequency power. Natural wood single boards are prone to warping as drying progresses, and if the material is cut about 50mm thicker than the product to account for warping, the yield becomes very poor. With this device, it is possible to minimize the finishing allowance, reduce losses during the cutting process, and extract more from a single piece of precious wood. The greatest appeal of a single board is that there is nothing else like it in the world. Conversely, this means that a processing program tailored to all materials is necessary. This is where our "interactive navigation system," designed with ease of use in mind, comes into play. Once processing starts, the device measures the amount of deflection in the material, and when the change is minimal, the device requests the next instruction from the operator. The operator selects additional instructions from the conditions provided by the device. In this way, the operator and the device engage in a dialogue, adjusting the heating according to the individuality and changes of the board. Additionally, the heating history is recorded as data, allowing for better processing by considering measures against warping and types of surface treatment.
